Cleaning Your Hard Drive
When it comes to increasing your computer’s speed and performance, you can certainly purchase more RAM (random
access memory). You can also switch from dial up Internet serve to Cable or DSL. But the longer you use
your computer, the slower it will become unless you perform some simple “housekeeping” items.
Before defragging your computer (we’ll get to that soon), it is a good idea to clean your hard drive by deleting
old programs and data files, cookies, temporary files and your recycle bin. When you consider what to
delete, the rule is, “If you are unsure of what it is, leave it alone!”
